WAS THAT A SNOWFLAKE I SAW?

No. A falling leaf from the maple tree in our backyard. But…crisp maple leaves congregating on the lawn and the annual convention of Canadian geese on the pond are always harbingers of the season-of-cold (I’m hesitant to use the season’s real name, but it starts with a w) on its heels.
